Junior scientists growing inspired by Beeguards project!!!

A group of promising junior scientists recently visited the experimental apiary at “Carditello Royal Palace” https://www.fondazionecarditello.org/new/en/the-royal-palace/) as part of the BEEGUARDS project. The apiary is where the CNR is conducting experiments related to immunity and physiology, in collaboration with CoNaProA (https://conaproa.it).

The students and School’s teaching staff, who are from the Institute of Environmental Biotechnology of Turin (https://www.jcmaxwell.edu.it), had the opportunity to learn about sustainable honeybee management and monitoring with new high-tech approaches.

This also helped them gain insight into fundamental concepts related to biodiversity and the resilience of ecosystems. We hope that sharing research projects with students will inspire future scientists.
