BeeGuards has just celebrated its first birthday!

This first year has seen already many achievements, for example 20 test apiaries in which we test our innovative management approach have been set up in 11 countries and two generations of resilient queens have already been produced in our resilience mating stations.

Check out our download section for protocols to be used in your apiary, if you want to participate!

And listen to BeeGuards being interviewed explaining what they are doing in the project.

Also, as the risk of the Tropilaelaps mite reaching Europe becomes more real, detection methods and informative leaflets have been devised, see below.
